Hey! I’m Anjelica!

Prior to starting Fur On My Shirt photography, I was a fashion photographer who worked with professional modeling agencies and commercial clients nationwide. My work has been featured in several fashion magazines including M magazine. I use my decades of experience to produce incredible eye-dropping professional images that pet parents are proud to display in their home. Photography is my love, and companion animals and the people they love is my passion.

I’m from South Florida (North Lauderdale, FL) and currently live on a beautiful farmhouse in rural Canton, Mississippi with my husband of 17 years, 16 year old senior kitty (Cloudy), 12 year old senior pup (Kodi-Bear), and two puppies under 1 year old (Freya and Hera), and five chickens. I lived in suburb, metropolitan areas my entire life and am enjoying the tranquil life we have on our farm. Being in nature brings me peace, and watching my animals run freely brings me joy.

    My story: Mom and dad found me in a Florida Wal-Mart parking lot when I was 2 weeks old in 2005.

    Guilty Pleasure: Instead of going inside when asked, I like to pretend I’m too tired to walk, plop down and roll around the grass. Don’t tell my parents!

    My story: Mom’s friend found me at 3 months old wandering around a neighborhood in Hollywood, Florida in 2009.

    Guilty Pleasure: Licking Cloudy’s butt (I’m cleaning it, I swear!

    My story: I was dropped off at CARA in Jackson, MS with a bad paw injury at 2 months old. Mom and dad adopted me from there in 2021. BEST DAY EVER!

    Guilty Pleasure: I like to smell my own farts.

    My Story: I was dropped off at Holt Animal Hospital in bad shape, infested with maggots. The good folks at the clinic help nurse back to health, especially my foster mom angel Abbey. My mom and dad adopted me soon after in 2021. They believe that my mother and siblings were killed by bird shot as I have a some embedded in my body.
